First steps
From signing up to your first match: what to do in the first few days.
You need an email address, a password and the name other managers will see. To sign up you must be at least 14 years old and accept the Terms of use.
Right afterwards a 6-digit code arrives by email: enter it to confirm your address. If you cannot find it, check your spam folder or ask for a new one from the same page.
Found your club
Choose your club's name: you join a league that is about to start. Each league has its own name and its own world: the same real footballers play in every league, but in each one their story is different.
You start with €100M of capital and a squad of 18 real players on contracts of 2 seasons. Your squad can hold up to 25.
The league has 10 teams and starts when they are all taken, or at the latest after 10 days of pre-season: empty places go to computer-run teams. Whoever arrives later takes over one of them.
Get your team ready
Look at your squad: every player has a role, overall, skills, value and contract. A player's page shows where his numbers come from and how they change.
Set your line-up: formation, starters, bench, captain, penalty taker and tactics. If you do not save one, the computer picks it for you, which is fine to begin with but knows nothing of your plans.
Have a look at the market: at auctions you buy free agents and can sell your own players; with other managers you can propose trades.
Matches
A season lasts 68 days with 18 matchdays, home and away. Matches are played on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 21:00 (Italian time); the first matchday comes 2 days after the season starts, to give you time to sort out your squad and line-up.
Matches play themselves with your saved line-up: you can follow them live with the commentary, or check the result afterwards. With notifications on, we let you know before kick-off and when something needs fixing.
Every day
Open the Oracle, the button at the bottom right: it tells you what to fix right now, from a line-up with an injured player to the auctions where you have been outbid.
Read the club's mail: the sporting director, the medical staff and the commercial office write to you when something happens to your players or to the club.
Keep an eye on the budget: capital pays wages and facilities. You can go into the red, but it costs interest and, if it lasts, point deductions and forced sales.
