Real players
Why your players change: skills, value and injuries follow real football.
Real football behind every player
Every player in the matrix is the reflection of a real footballer. His skills, overall and market value come from his real statistics: passes, tackles, duels, shots, goals, match ratings.
Nothing is made up: if a footballer plays well in real life, he improves in the game too; if he loses his place or declines, he declines in your team as well. That is why it pays to follow real football.
The names you see may differ from the real ones: in each league footballers have an invented name, always the same, but the numbers stay tied to the real player.
Updated every night
Every night we download the real matches that have finished: skills, overall, value and form are recalculated with the new data.
Form comes from the ratings of the latest real matches compared with the earlier ones: a player in great form performs better on the pitch and is worth more at auction.
The training ground sets the pace
In your team, skills follow the real ones a little at a time: the training ground decides how fast. The more developed it is, the sooner improvements arrive and the more slowly declines do.
Game skills never go beyond the real ones. On the Trend page you can see where each player is heading and how far he still has to go.
Injuries and suspensions
The only injuries are real ones. Game time runs faster, so matches missed in real life become matchdays in proportion: a real season of 38 matches is worth the 18 matchdays of ours.
The medical centre does not prevent injuries, but it shortens the time out and the recovery on return.
Suspensions come from the cards picked up in game matches; long real-life bans (after a serious sending-off) count in your team too, translated into matchdays.
When a player moves club in real life
If one of your players moves to a foreign league we follow, he keeps rising or falling with the matches he plays there, and asks to be sold abroad.
If he ends up where no data reaches us (for example in a lower division or without a club), he drops off the radar: skills and value stay at the last real ones, he will not renew and he leaves the squad when his contract ends. You can also let him go straight away, at no cost.
New footballers in the league we follow join the game on their own, as free agents: you will find them at auction.
